Wow--with all these new postings it's hard to keep up. Have a Happy New Year, Derwin--don't let the guys give you too much grief. I'm looking forward to the convention in Summerside in May and hope to see your layout.
Nice shot Derwin, I always take my shots with out the flash too. i think they look more like the scene I'm shooting. not to bright or dark either but that's just me. all the shot on my blog from Scott's are with only natural light and i like them. Brian NDR.
If you want a little more light to get greater depth of field you could try one or two of those halogen work lights. You can get two of them on a stand for about $20 on sale. Just don't put them too close to anything plastic for too long.
Nice pictures Derwin - I agree with Brian - I take my shots without the flash and as Scott mentioned, I use a couple of the cheap Halogen worklights - seems to work fine....
I have been facinated with trains since I was a kid.
They pretty much travelled through my back yard. When I was thirteen years old I received my first HO scale train set for Christmas and have been collecting and modelling ever since.

Derwin I 'd watch the guy driving the Pinto wagon, he likes to live life on the edge!!!
Anyone who drove a Pinto was living on the edge. Weather they knew it or not is another story.

Thanks guys for the suggestions.
I have a halogen light here and I think I may use it next time I take pictures.
