Some Of my Favorite Cars

This car is what's called a Slab Sided Hopper. They were unique to Canadian railways only. This one is a model of a TH&B hopper and were a common site in the 1970's.
I believe they were used mostly for transporting powered cement and possibly bulk fertilizers.
I bought this one assembled unlike my other resin cars.

Excellent job of re-creating the island in HO. I'm originally from Summerside but moved out west with my family when the base closed down. I've worked as a conductor for CP for 6 years in Vancouver but still fondly remember watching those old mlw's rumble past my house in the early 80's. I am trying to find info on operations, subdivisions, spur lines, rolling stock, etc. but without much luck. Just the odd website with good intentions but vague info. I had some other questions too, if you could give me some info it would be greatly appreciated, thanks for the help.

Well Brian if you are checking the Blog now you will see a couple of new pictures taken with my new digital camera.
As for video I also have a new camera for that as well but the learning curve is much greater.

I love this shot of your layout. It is a true showstopper! The camera angle you chose really draws the viewer into the scene. Would like to see more pics of this fine layout!
